Brett has been with the Management team for more than 10 years, joining Purata in June 2004. Brett is involved in the supervision of farms, monitoring and reporting systems, budgeting and systems modelling for farms. Attention to detail has been an essential cornerstone of the monitoring and reporting processes that Brett has developed. Prior to joining Purata, Brett managed the Lincoln University Dairy Farm in its first 3 years of operation, getting this farm to its high performance levels and establishing the monitoring and reporting systems that are still used today. Earlier Brett managed an intensive Dairy Research Farm at Ruakura in Hamilton for DRC then Dexcel, as well as being a sharemilker for a number of years. Brett is a Kellogg Scholar, has an NZCE in Mechanical Engineering, and has worked in the fertiliser and irrigation industries before returning to his grassroots in the Dairy Farming industry. With his professional photographic skills Brett continues to provide a detailed record of all major developments and events at Purata.
